What a day! The biggest ever turnout - in excess of 150
Classic cars - will be remembered for many years. Most pleasing was the much higher
turnout in the Overs than last year. The racing and action in the Overs Championship was
amazing and the material out of this World and, in the final, #431 Dan Steele scored a
superb win in his DS420 hearse - certainly the first race win by a hearse that I have
witnessed. The Championship titles were taken by Warlord Nigel Baker (Overs) and Marcus
Goodsmith (Unders). Pictures from this meeting to follow soon!
The rain was dreadful but such was the quality of the cars and racing that most folk
stayed to the bitter end.
