BEAT YOUR BOSS IN YOUR OWN STOCK CAR MEETING!

For the first time in the UK, you can compete in authentic racing cars against friends and colleagues - it’s exciting, it’s safe, and it’s totally thrilling.

A Motor Racing Live Stockcar event is the perfect day out for groups and individuals alike.

During your day you will race F2 Stockcars in two practice sessions, two Heats and a Stockcar Championship Final.

You will also take part in a range of other events ... the Professionals Challenge (in fully race prepared off-road Capri Bangers!), the Dell Boy Challenge (in Reliant Robin Bangers!) and the Nag Drag Challenge.

Commentators, music and enthusiastic instructors will make your event unforgettable - an ideal day out for Corporate groups, Stag Parties etc!

"Stock Car Racing
If you grew up in any self-respecting Antipodean country, the words ‘Stock Car Racing’ probably conjure up images of guys called Mick or Karel driving around a cross shaped track smashing into each other like James Dean on a sunny afternoon. It was your primo grease monkey weekend out, where blood was expected (and that was only in the stands). Well, fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view, this stock car racing is ‘non contact.’ But don’t worry these babies are fully-fledged formula two cars, racing six at a time and yes, it‘ll be you behind the wheel And they go FAST. The race day starts at 10am with the full safety briefings and other things like flag drills. However, you’ll probably be too busy dreaming of the pit ladies and out-gunning your mates to really listen (at your peril).

When we went, the practice laps sorted the men from the ladies and often those with the smoothest rather than the most aggressive came in at the chequered flag (and it wasn’t only the men). As the heats start cooking, competition becomes as serious as the Russian roulette scene in Deer Hunter. With all the noise and gasoline and egotism it really starts to take on the feel of a serious race meet. The racers are whittled down to a final six, with the various support teams egging their favourites on. The final saw one of our number coming in a respectable second, which meant of course we were forced to have one or two quiet ones along the way and then move sedately on to the prize giving and trophies. The whole day lasted about six hours and it was seriously brutal fun.

Trophies: Various trophies are awarded to winners on the day.
Lunch: You will not go hungry and give you a burger for lunch and teas and coffee throughout the day.
Duration: 4-6 hours depending on numbers."
