| Hot Rod racing was introduced onto the UK oval racing scene some 35 years ago by Bill Morris using the purpose-built ultra-fast high banked oval at Hednesford Hills.
While there are now many different non-contact formulae on the UK short ovals the National Hot Rods are at the very top of the tree. The cars are incredibly fast demanding driving skills of the highest calibre especially when fields are as large as 25 cars on the quarter-mile ovals. You can see the National Hot Rods at both Hednesford Hills and Birmingham Wheels between March and November.
